Cacique update- March 7, 2010

Today was the first day of SCUBA/Kayak week and the IS community was divided into two separate groups. Some left for the beginning of their first 3-day kayak expedition, good luck to them!  SCUBA started for the rest of us, and for many was the first breath underwater we had ever taken.  The amazing underwater world, where we all gazed at the enormous swarms of upside-down jellyfish that littered the bottom of the triangle cut.  The entire day was dedicated to SCUBA, ending with a night class of more SCUBA.  Breakfast was cold cereal, lunch was scrambled eggs, lasagna, and pancakes, dinner was fried cobia, broiled cobia, Bahamian-style macaroni and cheese, broccoli, and beans. We were all starving after hours underwater and the morning SCUBA “pyscho”. Such great exercise!
