Sadly, our week-long New England road trip is nearing its end. We have been having a blast linking up with our alumni and establishing connections at our sending schools. Today, we met with students and guidance counselors at both Yarmouth High School and Freeport High School. Afterwards, we had a two-part lunch with alumni enrolled in Bowdoin College: Molly Rose (SU’10), Henry McNamara (F’06), Emma Beecher (SP’11), and Julia Rew (F’10).

We were fortunate enough to get some down time to explore the beautiful city of Portland before heading back in to Yarmouth for the admissions reception at the Becker’s home (Sarah Becker, SP’11) in Yarmouth. We are so appreciative to the Beckers for hosting such a wonderful and successful event with lots of prospective students. They also served as the host of a mini reunion for the Spring 2011 semester, welcoming Adam Wriggins, Aldis Gamble, Emma Beecher, and Eliza Hazen into their home to reminisce on their three months together in 2011.
Tomorrow we are off to North Yarmouth Academy and then will continue to travel north to Colby College and then to our final destination of Bates College.
