SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
7am: Morning Exercise
Join Maxey for morning exercise around DC’s monuments. We’ll be meeting at the Smithsonian metro stop on the Mall side (12th St. and Jefferson Dr. SW).
11am: Bagels, Coffee, and Speaker
A lead researcher for Lockheed Martin’s aquaculture program will be speaking on the company’s work in applying technologies used by the Department of Defense to new food production techniques that can help feed people around the world. The event will take place in George Washington University’s City View Room at 1957 E Street NW.
1pm: Lunch
Meet us at the Old Post Office Pavillion (off the Federal Triangle metro) for lunch in the food court.
3pm: Tour the Spy Museum
Take a tour of the Spy Museum, which features the largest collection of international espionage artifacts ever placed on public display.
6pm: Happy Hour for 21+ Alumni
Alumni 21+ are invited to join us for a happy hour at Hook Restaurant. For younger alumni, we encourage you to work with your classmates to plan individual events and will be happy to recommend restaurants and other activities. Email alumni@islandschool.org if you need help planning your event.
